Meet Your Instructor, Tony Kachelmeier
Tony Kachelmeier is a licensed Dealing Representative in Ontario, specializing in exempt market (alternative) investments — the asset classes that fall outside traditional stocks, bonds, and mutual funds. With 10 years in the alternative investment industry, Tony has built a strong track record, with much of his success rooted in Mortgage Investment Corporations (MICs). He previously served as VP of Investor Relations for what he describes as one of the best MICs in Canada, an experience that established him as a subject matter expert in private mortgage lending. Tony's reasoning is straightforward: residential real estate is the most resilient asset class because people will prioritize the roof over their head above every other financial obligation.
